UTHealth and Hermann Park Conservancy invite you to Walk With A Doc the third Saturday of every month in Hermman Park. A physician from UTHealth leads each monthly walk, which is free and open to the public. Registration is at the southeast corner of Miller Outdoor Theater (near Ticket Booth) the day of. Free parking is recommended at Lot C, 1500 Hermann Drive. Walk at your own pace and distance through the park with community members and doctors.

About Walk With A Doc
Walk With A Doc was started with a simple concept: Physicians organize walks in their communities and invite their patients, their patients’ families, and community members to join them. Walkers will enjoy a refreshing and rejuvenating walk with health care professionals, who will provide support to participants and answer questions during the walk. Walk with a Doc is overseen by a national nonprofit organization to get people active and healthy, and is backed by the Texas Medical Association (TMA). Walk With a Doc is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to encourage healthy physical activity in people of all ages, and reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle to improve the health and well-being of the country.
The family-friendly event is part of a grassroots effort started by an Ohio cardiologist in 2005 as a way to motivate his patients to be active.
