UTHealth Houston is looking for an Associate Director of Development Communications to manage, lead, and mentor a team of two development writers to support fundraising and philanthropy efforts within the Office of Development. Reporting to the Director of Development Communications, this person will write, edit, and manage communications projects, including proposals, stories, stewardship reports, annual giving pieces, and other materials to cultivate relationships with and to solicit individuals, corporations, and foundations to support UTHealth Houston’s mission. There are currently two writers on the team with plans to add more. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and time management skills as well as experience in translating complex scientific material for a variety of audiences.
