Biography

I am a Faculty Associate at the Institute for Implementation Science at the University of Health Sciences Center Houston (UTHealth). I also have appointments in the Department of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences and the Center for Health Promotion and Prevention Research in the UTHealth School of Public Health. I have 15 years of global public health experience, including 8 years of living and working in low- and middle-income settings. As a mixed methods researcher, I have interests in: nutrition; maternal, newborn, and child health; healthcare equity and access; behavioral health; and vulnerable populations (migrants, refugees, and corrections).
