Faculty Support

At McGovern Medical School, our mission and vision work hand in hand, driven by an unwavering commitment to a singular ideal: Excellence above all.

Excellence at McGovern Medical School is about keeping our communities healthy. Each day, our faculty provide compassionate care to the patients we serve and educate future health professionals while our physician-scientists confront the most pressing medical challenges of our time.

This commitment relies on the people who choose to teach, learn, and discover at McGovern Medical School—people dedicated to teaching tomorrow’s health experts while pushing the boundaries of medicine.

Faculty Support

As one of the largest medical schools in the nation, our faculty and physician-scientists have diverse expertise across the health care continuum, driving discoveries that can change lives. By committing to being and doing our best in education, research, and patient care, we commit to the health of our families, our neighbors, our region, and our world.

To continue this work, we seek out health care’s brightest minds so that their skills and determination can translate into better training for our students and better health care for our communities. But the landscape for health care talent is competitive.

It is critical that we are able to provide faculty with the facilities, resources, and financial support to help them succeed at McGovern Medical School. Endowed faculty positions provide these resources and help us attract and retain researchers who will shine new light on complex diseases and educate the next generation of health professionals.

Our ability to expand this commitment to excellence depends on our ability to provide endowed faculty positions that will attract and retain top experts. Our faculty depend on McGovern Medical School for the resources that enable their achievements, and your support of Many Faces.
