DEI speaker series: ‘Native Americans: The Gap in Health Equality’ Nov. 10

The UTHealth Houston Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites the community to learn about health disparities facing the Native American community in honor of Native American Heritage Month.

The final presentation in the fall 2021 speaker series, “Native Americans: The Gap in Health Equality” will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, via Webex. Register for the event at bit.ly/uthealth1110.

Nikki McDonald, director of the American Indian Center of Houston, and Cameron Chase, health director of Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, are the keynote presenters. The groups have a focus on child welfare and tribal family unity.
