Research Description

Dr. Ghajar's primary area of research is in the field of implantable brain electrodes (sensors). His goal is to improve the efficiency of neural activity recording that is being used currently in Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) or to treat neurological diseases (e.g. epilepsy). He is conducting research to increase the recording efficiency by: - Improving the longevity of flexible neural electrodes - Developing a novel neural electrode - Developing novel fabrication techniques for neural electrodes
