Due to the inclement weather conditions on the East Coast, NSF announced on October 29, 2012 that all deadlines on October 29 and 30, 2012 have been extended one week.
The NSF announcement also stated: "Proposers should be aware that all applications submitted after the submission deadline must be submitted through FastLane since Grants.gov does not accept proposals after the deadline."
For a complete list of NSF advisories, please see: https://www.fastlane.nsf.gov/index.jsp
In addition, please be aware that if you attempt to submit the proposal to Grants.gov after they have removed the opportunity from their system, the submission will not be accepted. We recommend that if you do not submit the proposal by its first scheduled deadline that you complete the proposal in FastLane to guarantee it will be accepted. Additional October 31 deadline extensions fall into this same category.
