The UTH-Share suite of Google products includes Drive, Sites, Groups, Forms and a host of other applications to enhance communication and real-time collaboration with others on campus or around the world.

It is easy to switch to Google Workspace applications from Microsoft products.  Visit the Google Workspace learning center to review guides for switching to Google applications.


Google Drive

Google Drive provides a single place to store, access, create, edit, sync, and share documents, files, and folders of all types. You can easily access files anywhere - at your desk, from home, or on a mobile device.

Google Docs

Google Docs brings your documents to life with smart editing and styling tools. Choose from hundreds of fonts, add links, images, and drawings. Choose from a wide variety of templates, reports, and other pre-made documents. Access, create, and edit your documents wherever you go. Collaborate with others on campus or around the world. Open, edit and save Microsoft Word files with the Chrome extension or app.

Google Sheets


Google Sheets makes your data pop with colorful charts and graphs. Built-in formulas, pivot tables and conditional formatting options save time and simplify common spreadsheet tasks.  Use the Explore panel to get an overview of your data, from informative summaries to a selection of pre-populated charts to choose from. Open, edit, and save Microsoft Excel files with the Chrome extension or app.

Google Slides makes your ideas shine with a variety of presentation themes, hundreds of fonts, embedded video, animations, and more. Access, create, and edit your presentations wherever you go — from your phone, tablet, or computer — even when there’s no connection. Open, and edit, or save Microsoft PowerPoint files with the Chrome extension or app.

Google Forms


Collect and organize information big & small with Google Forms. Plan your next meeting, manage event registrations, whip up a quick poll, collect email addresses for a newsletter, create a pop quiz, and much more. Choose from a bunch of question options, from multiple choice to dropdowns to a linear scale. Add images and YouTube videos, or get fancy with page branching and question skip logic.

Google Groups

Google Groups makes it easy for groups of people—such as project teams, departments, or classmates—to communicate and collaborate. You can send an email to everyone in a group with one address, invite a group to an event, or share documents with a group. You can also create an online forum for group discussions.

Google Meet 

Google Hangouts is the successor to Google Chat. It's great for sending a quick chat message, calling phones from your computer, or holding meetings with people spread over campus or the world! It is now one of the core apps covered under the terms of service agreement UTHealth has with Google.
