How to use Meet@UTHealth (Quick Reference Guide)

Telephone conferencing

       Call ID : 500NNNN #

       Passcode:  NNNN #

Logging into your coSpace via desktop Meet@UTHealth (Acano) Application

 1.    Download the desktop Meet@UTHealth (Acano) Application

        PC client

        Mac client

 2.    Launch the Meet@UTHealth (Acano) Application and log into the your coSpace

        Username: YourUTHUserID@meet.uth.edu

        Password:  Your UT password

Logging into your Meet@UTHealth (Acano) coSpace via Google Chrome or Firefox browser

1.    Goto https://meet.uth.edu

2.    Click on “Sign In” tab

       Username:  YourUTHUserID@meet.uth.edu (E.g. jdoe@meet.uth.edu)

       Password:  Your UTHealth password

Entering the Meet@UTHealth (Acano) coSpace 

(Once you have logged in successfully)

1.    Click on the coSpace button

2.    Click on the green button on the right of the page.

3.    Allow access for camera and microphone.

Guest access into your coSpace

The host of a specific Meet@UTHealth coSpace can invite guests to join that Meet@UTHealth coSpace meeting. Guests typically fall into 1 of 2 categories. The typical Meet@UTHealth coSpace guest can either be :

Meet@UTHealth client users who are not members of a specific coSpace but need to join the coSpace for a specific meeting

Or

Non-Meet@UTHealth client users, who are typically external to UTHealth.

Use Google Chrome to access https://meet.uth.edu

1.    Click on the Join call tab

2.    Enter the Call ID

3.    Provide name

4.    Provide Passcode

1. Select the specific Meet@UTHealth coSpace (from your list of coSpaces).

2. Select the Invite button.

3. Select delivery method:

· Select Email (to put a copy of the dial-in information into the body of a new email from you). Customize the email as you wish. For example, the email invites the guest to join the specific Meet@UTHealth coSpace ‘now’, you may wish to change this to ’10 minutes’ or specify a time.

· Select Copy invitation (to put a copy of the dial-in information onto your clipboard). Send this information to your guests, for instance via an instant messaging tool.

· Select Copy web link (to put the web address for the specific Meet@UTHealth coSpace onto your clipboard). Send the link to your guests, for instance via an instant messaging tool.



Please note: If you wish to restrict access to the coSpace meeting, then:

select the Edit button.

i. Enter a numeric passcode.

ii. Select Done to save the passcode.
