I. POLICY AND GENERAL STATEMENT
It is the policy of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (“University”) to employ qualified individuals without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. If a need to utilize a search firm is determined to exist, and the cost exceeds $5,000, competitive bidding is required. Please refer to information found on the Procurement Services website. Prospective employees or candidates may be eligible for reimbursement of certain expenses related to the interview and/or relocation process. Refer to the Expense Reimbursement Team’s website for detailed information and procedures.
