With comprehensive expertise across every pediatric specialty, our physicians provide compassionate care beginning before patients are born and lasting through adolescence. We work with children and their families every day to diagnose and treat complex disorders to help our young patients focus on being kids.

Through residency and fellowship programs, our faculty provide advanced training for the next generation of pediatric experts who will keep our communities healthy for years to come. Our physician-scientists are also breaking ground in pediatrics research—from developing innovative treatments for pediatric neurological conditions to unravelling how children respond to COVID-19.

Drawing on resources and collaborations across the Texas Medical Center, McGovern Medical School is positioned to lead the field of pediatrics. With our clinical partners, we are shedding new light on challenging diseases, repairing cleft palates, and pioneering initiatives to improve child safety.
