Presidential Investiture set for Sept. 17

A new chapter in UTHealth Houston’s history will soon be here with the investiture of Melina R. Kibbe, MD, president and Alkek-Williams Distinguished Chair.

The ceremony, set for Sept. 17 at 1:30 p.m., will be available to the UTHealth Houston community via livestream.

A presidential investiture is a time-honored academic tradition that formally recognizes and celebrates the university’s president. The ceremony offers the UTHealth Houston community an opportunity to mark this significant occasion and celebrate the university’s continued commitment to education, research, clinical care, and service.
