Salutation 2024!

All UTHealth Houston students are invited to attend the 26th Annual Student InterCouncil (SIC) Salutation on Thursday, Sept 5.

The school with the highest number of attendees will win a complimentary ice cream truck for their school courtesy of the Office of the Executive Vice President of Student Affairs!

There will also be food, beverages, giveaways, and great prizes such as monthly parking passes, gift cards, and studio buds to name a few!

Your UTHealth Houston student ID is your admission ticket.

Salutation is a great way to welcome incoming and returning students to the university. During the event, students will have the opportunity to learn about the different UTHealth Houston resources and services available to them, and get to know the school deans, student government leaders, and each other. There are also great prize giveaways, food, and beverages.

The Cooley Center is located next to UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. The use of shuttle service is encourages, but limited parking will be validated for the lot located across from the School of Dentistry, at 1941 East Road.

The event is for UTHealth Houston students only. It is a way for students from all six schools to network, meet school administrators, and learn more about university student services.

Attendees are encouraged to take photos with classmates and post on social media using #ManyFacesofUTHealthHouston. You don’t want to miss out on this kickoff to the new school year.
