Biography

Dr. Kang is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Implementation Science, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She received her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation and Participation Science from the Program in Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Yonsei University.

Dr. Kang's research focuses on  improving patient engagement in healthcare, disease management, and daily life as a key mechanism for enhancing health outcomes and health equity, and on translating these interventions into practice using community-engaged implementation science.
