Grief trial to assess mothers after pregnancy loss

A new study led by researchers with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) will survey women who have experienced pregnancy loss to assess their grief in hopes of understanding how they can receive resources to better navigate life after such loss.

UTHealth awarded nearly $10 million for public health informatics workforce development program

In order to develop a talent pipeline with individuals from diverse backgrounds in public health and data science to address future public health response, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) has been awarded a nearly $10 million cooperative agreement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).




CPRIT grant awarded to train new cancer prevention researchers

UTHealth-CPRIT Innovation in Cancer Prevention Research Training Program directors.

An innovative program that aims to increase the number of cancer prevention scientists and boost cancer health equity across the state led by experts at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) has been awarded a nearly $4 million grant from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
