UTHealth Houston veterans invited to annual Rise and Shine event

The Veteran Community Network invites all UTHealth Houston veterans to the Rise and Shine veteran recognition breakfast to thank veterans and active military personnel for their service.

Student, staff, and faculty veterans are encouraged to attend in person.  

The event will be held 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center, 7440 Cambridge St.

RVSP online by Friday, Nov. 4. 

A recording of the event will be made available for those who are unable to attend. 

Interested in getting involved with the Veteran Community Network

The UTHealth Houston Veteran Community Network is open to community members who are veterans or active service members, and their spouses or dependents, as well as all who consider themselves to be supporters of the military. More information on the group is available online.

As a strong advocate for veterans, UTHealth Houston has a specific pathway to assist veterans in matching their military careers with openings at the university.
