As we continue moving forward with Future in Focus, our institution-wide strategic planning effort, I want to share an update on where we stand in the Listen & Learn phase and how you can be part of shaping our next 10 years. Below are answers to some of the questions we've been hearing.

What types of engagement sessions have there been as part of the Listen & Learn phase?

Through the Listen & Learn phase, we have gathered input through individual interviews, group meetings, focus groups, and the institution-wide survey. See the latest figures on our engagement efforts on our website.

What are ways I can participate in the strategic planning process?

The primary way is our university-wide survey, designed to capture your input on shaping our next 10 years. We mean it when we say this plan will be co-authored by our employees, trainees, and students. Your perspective matters, and this is your chance to help shape where we're headed.

  • Survey Dashboard: See where your area ranks below or on the new live progress dashboard. The dashboard can be found in our Future in Focus Project Hub.
  • Share Your Voice: Any group that has at least 80% participation will win a pizza party. Take the survey today!

Will we learn about the findings from the survey?

Yes. Our intention is to share high-level themes that emerge from the Listen & Learn phase findings and wrap them into the final strategic plan document.
