UCSC November 2025 Meeting Highlights

• Artificial Intelligence & Innovation: UTHealth Houston announced a university-wide AI Task Force to gather input on AI use across healthcare, research, and education.
• HR & Talent Initiatives: Phase I of the new external careers website launched, featuring improved job search tools, AI-supported role matching, and a talent community.
• Governance Updates: By-law changes approved creating Treasurer-Elect and Secretary-Elect roles to support leadership continuity.
• Engagement & Events: Volunteers requested for Fun Fest; planning began for the August retreat.
• Staff Development & Recognition: First Brown Bag session was highly successful; additional sessions and a spring staff recognition workshop (Thriving Through Transformation) are planned.
