A Note from Our FY24 Chair...

Hello everyone and welcome to a new fiscal year.  My name is Alainna Talton and I am so excited to be chair of the University Classified Staff Council (UCSC) and look forward to moving more great things forward for the Classified Staff.  I have worked for UTHealth for almost 15 years and I have been a part of the UCSC for 10 of those years.  I am a Divisional Manager for LBJ Hospital and I work under the Chief of Staff Dr. Tien Ko.  My career has extended from Medical School to School of Biomedical Informatics.  I have enjoyed every bit of my time at UT.  There are always opportunities for change and improvement.  There are a lot of ideas that I have and hopefully with the support of this great council we can accomplish all of them.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the UCSC with any concerns or questions.  Check out or website and look into joining our email list so that you are up to date on all of our events.
