Nguyen selected as ADHA Student Delegate

UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry first-year dental hygiene student Cindy Nguyen has been selected as the 2025 District IX Student Delegate to the American Dental Hygienists’ Association 102nd House of Delegates Meeting.

The ADHA House of Delegates sets the policy and direction for the dental hygiene profession. Composed of elected delegates from each ADHA constituent (state) organization, the house discusses and votes on issues of national and often global significance.

Student delegates have the unique opportunity to participate in the voting body of the house as representatives of all student members of ADHA. Chosen students act as voices for their peers and their district’s interests.

Nguyen will serve as District IX Student Delegate in the next house meeting being held on June 27-28, 2025.
