UT Police to host virtual National Night Out

Event Description

UT Police at Houston will host a virtual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

With a theme of “Safety Showcase,” the event will feature information about careers, safety resources, and a Q&A with officers. The discussion kicks off at 3 p.m. Register to participate online.

The annual National Night Out campaign, which promotes police-community partnerships and camaraderie to make the community a safer, more caring place to live.

Discussion topics include: safety tips, an overview of the Clery Act, crime statistics in the Texas Medical Center, and how to protect against theft.
