Synopsis: This program is set apart to focus on special patients, along with current and future oral health care demands of the geriatric generation. You will be able to identify where you fit into their lives as an overall health practitioner, who provides treatment and instruction toward oral health care management. Featured topics will cover connections between oral health and other chronic diseases and the current effects on the aging population, managed-treatment of elderly patients with medical comorbidities and pharmacological characteristics of medicines used in geriatric populations. You will become aware of current oral health care techniques used in prevention measurements recommendable for patient treatment and self-care as well as guidance on how to support the overall livelihood of the aging population through oral health care advantages.
