TEPHI Grand Rounds | Long COVID in Harris County
Event Description
Long COVID is a significant public health issue, and mounting evidence suggests many patients experience substantial and long-lasting health changes following even apparently mild COVID-19 episodes. Dr. Sandoval will present results from the Harris Cares: Embrace HOPE long COVID study. Dr. Ostrosky-Zeichner will discuss pathophysiology, presentations, clinical features, and outcomes of the patients who experience long COVID that he evaluates at the UTHealth COVID Center of Excellence. Clinical trials in the area will also be discussed.
