Houston Center for Biomaterials & Biomimetics presents the inaugural John M. Powers, PhD Lecture. The guest speaker will be Stephen J. Chu, DMD, MSD, CDT.
This continuing dental education program will address the clinical diagnosis and management of Type 1-3 extraction sockets. In addition, current concepts will be presented on techniques, clinical research, histologic evidence, and innovations in immediate implant placement and provisional restoration treatment and how they can enhance time and clinical outcomes for greater patient comfort, care, and satisfaction. Furthermore, the use of angle screw channel abutment for screw-retained restorations, iShell custom prefabricated gingival sleeves for tissue preservation, will be shown as well as the use of static surgical guides for proper implant placement.
