Going up in Smoke: Health Issues of Vaping/Cannabis Use
This continuing dental education course will examine the smoking trends among different groups in the U.S. Participants will explore different types of nicotine, tobacco, and cannabis products and their potential effects on oral and overall health. We will evaluate the prevalence and legal status of marijuana use, the implications of acute and chronic cannabis use on dental care provision, and the recent outbreak of pulmonary diseases associated with vaping.
