TEPHI Talks | In Search of Critical Infrastructure

Event Description

Join us for our next TEPHI Talk with guest speaker Clint Ladd, Critical Infrastructure Coordinator for the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Office of Homeland Security. Clint will take a close look at critical infrastructure: how it's defined and how the U.S. and Texas classify certain infrastructure as critical. This will include a review of how the term is commonly used versus its use in government statutes. Historical examples will be provided, such as the application of the US Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
