Join us for a Dean's Lecture featuring Charles Cox, M.D. at 12:30 p.m. in MSB 3.001 on December 4, 2025. Dr. Cox is the Professor and the George and Cynthia Mitchell Distinguished Chair in Neuroscience. He directs the Center for Translational Injury Research, and Pediatric Program in Regenerative Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He is co-director of the Texas Trauma Institute and directs the Pediatric Trauma Program at the University of Texas-Houston/Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Cox will discuss the "Evolution of cell therapies for traumatic brain injury: From idea to clinical trials."
