The Preventioneers: Lecture and Conversation with Barry R. Davis, MD, PhD, Professor Emeritus

Event Description

Faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to attend a lecture and conversation with Barry R. Davis, MD, PhD, Professor Emeritus and author of The Preventioneers: Diseases, Disasters, and the Discoveries That Changed Our World. Dr. Davis previously served as Department Chair for Biostatistics and Director of the Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials, where he helped lead some of the nation’s most influential studies of cardiovascular disease prevention. Visitor parking is available at South Campus Garage 2, 1950 Old Spanish Trail, Houston, TX 77054. Light lunch will be available at 11:30 AM in the PHB 3rd-Floor Lobby prior to the event.
