G&E and Immunology Program Spring Career Symposium
Event Description
We invite you to register for this year’s G&E & Immunology Programs Career Symposium on Friday, May 24th, 2024 (10:00 am – 6:00 pm) at the Cooley Conference Center on the South Campus.
Our in-person symposium will feature:
- Keynote Lecture: 10 – 11 am
- Alternative Careers Session
- PI Start-ups Session
- Lunch: 12:30 – 1:30 pm
- Breakout Sessions: Academic Advising, Endurance in Science: Navigating Challenges in STEM, Mental Health Workshop with Dr. Jason Yu, Academia and Teaching Panel, Effective Speaking and Application Skills, and Path to Acquiring a Successful Industry Job
- Reception: 5 – 6 pm
These activities will inform graduate students and postdocs about identifying career paths and the skills necessary for them, as well as provide opportunities to network and get first-hand advice from invited speakers. This in-person symposium is a great way for the G&E and Immunology Program community to come together and network.
