The Office of Diversity and Inclusion invites all students, faculty, and staff to attend the first Diversity and Equity Virtual Speaker Series event of 2022.
Trevor M. Bibler, PhD, assistant professor of medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy, will present “Spiritual Determinants of Health: Is it Time to Prescribe Prayer?” at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
- Appreciate the methodological and conceptual challenges that complicate research on the relationships between spirituality, religion, and health.
- Recognize current research on the relationship between spirituality and health outcomes.
- Identify ways that diversity of individual experience, communities, and cultures influence the conclusions of today’s research.
