This course teaches best practices for dentists and physicians regarding tongue and lip tie assessment and treatment in infants and older children, and provides participation in a hands-on workshop to learn how to remove tongue-ties using soft-laser tissue on pig jaws. The course will enable you to understand how to diagnose and surgically treat tongue and lip ties. You will learn and understand the laser-tissue interaction basics and safety considerations within the established standards of safe and effective use of lasers.
