Event Description

Join the UTHealth Houston team at Get Your Rear in Gear – Houston 2026, a colorectal cancer awareness 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Fun Run! This year our team will be called Pearl’s Gems, named after Pearl, our inflatable colon, who will also be making an appearance at the event! We encourage departments, programs, faculty, staff, students, family, and friends to sign up, spread the word, and help us build a strong UTHealth presence while supporting colorectal cancer awareness, prevention, and screening.
