Event Description
Spirituality is widely known as one of the eight key dimensions of wellness. Wellness comprises eight mutually co-dependence dimensions: emotional, physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, and financial. If any one of these dimensions is neglected over time, it will adversely affect one's health, well-being, and quality of life. Additionally, for those patients experiencing chronic orofacial pain, religiosity appears to be a significant coping mechanism. Lastly, in a post COVID-19 era, where misinformation and disinformation abounds, particularly across public health, communities of worship and spirituality have been found to be primary contexts for obtaining and disseminating health information.
