Commencement Location

Minute Maid Park 

Location

Commencement will take place at Minute Maid Park, located at 501 Crawford St., Houston, TX 77002. A map of the stadium entrances and parking lots is available online.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available in parking lots A, B, and C. The Diamond Lot will be reserved for staff and vendors. Metered overflow parking is available in neighboring surface lots managed by the City of Houston. Fees may vary.

Regalia Information

  1. To place your order, log into https://www.graduateaffairs.com/college-c-4/university-of-texas-health-science-center-houston-c-4_28/
  2. All students must rent their appropriate degree regalia to participate in the ceremony. The option to convert your rental into a purchase is also available - just follow the online instructions after you enter your sizing and degree options.
  3. Please enter a physical address for FedEx delivery of your order - not a PO Box. Rentals will be shipped to arrive no later than one week prior to your scheduled ceremony date. Purchases will be shipped to arrive approximately 5-6 weeks after you place your order, so please order early to ensure delivery before your scheduled ceremony date. This only applies to complete regalia set purchases. If you only purchase part of the regalia set or extra tassels, these will arrive no later than one week prior to your scheduled ceremony date with your rented items.
  4. For "Date Order Needed", please enter May 1.
  5. The "FREESHIP" promotion is not available on orders.
  6. If two or more students combine their order into one, please indicate in the comments section of the checkout the names of each student and the corresponding sizing so all regalia can be properly labeled and all students accounted for.
  7. Please feel free to use the comments section of the checkout to include anything you want to communicate to us with regard to your order.
  8. Gowns will arrive pressed, on a hanger, and in a protective plastic garment bag. Please hang up your gown once received to keep it presentable for your ceremony.
  9. Keep the box your regalia arrives in, as well as the prepaid FedEx label for return of all rented regalia within five days of your scheduled ceremony date. A $15 replacement fee applies for lost labels.
  10. Should you choose to order announcements, expect UPS delivery of your announcement order about two to three weeks after you place your order.
  11. ORDER EARLY! Order by March 31 to avoid a $25 late fee.
