Yes, but if the candidate meets the Waiver Requirements, you may request a Search Waiver Form and submit it to EVPARA Academic and Research Affairs. If they do not meet the Waiver Requirements, you will have to post the job and perform a search.
You don’t have to! However, the best practice is to keep the CV until the candidate has been cleared for hire. If the candidate applied properly online the CV should have been uploaded into the system and HR will maintain the record.
You may, only after it has been posted live on the UTHealth Job Site. Please use the same language that is on the job posting and link to the post.
When you are creating a job posting, you can create a Guest User Account that will give people access to this job posting only and to view the candidates. If your job is already posted, you can contact HR to create the Guest User Account.
Not until they have applied online. Remember, you can only consider applicants who applied directly to the job posting. If someone contacts you directly with a CV or inquiry, you need to let them know that they cannot be considered for the position until they apply online.
Be sure to let HR know this when submitting the initial requisition by adding information to the comment section of the job posting such as: “We plan to hire more than one candidate for this position.” Once you have a candidate selected for hire, please submit a duplicate requisition for approval with the following information in the comment section of the job posting: this a duplicate requisition, the Master requisition number, and the candidates name. For each candidate selected for hire, you will duplicate the requisition and submit for approval. HR will post the duplicate requisition internally and move the selected candidate over to the duplicate requisition. Once the duplicate requisition has been approved for internal posting, the department should add a completed Faculty Recruiting Search Committee Report to the posting documents tab and change the candidate status to “Selected for hire – Faculty EEO review.”
Contact Human Resources to close or put the posting on hold. HR will not do this until you have asked, in case you want to hire more candidates off of one posting.
