The Management A&P performance appraisal period is from June 1 through May 31st.

Creating/Editing/Updating Performance Goals
Performance goals are goals that are set to align one’s performance and work to UTHealth Houston’s business objectives. Goal Milestones are goal-specific tasks that must be accomplished in order to fully achieve a performance goal. Milestones are helpful in determining and prioritizing work related to a performance goal.

Performance Appraisal Forms contain Performance Goals and UTHealth Houston Institutional Performance Goals. During the Employee Review these goals are rated by the employee, who may add comments to clarify the selected rating. Goals should be updated prior to rating. The form is then sent to the manager for review.

Managers may begin their review at any time and save their work. Once the Employee Review is completed, or the window of opportunity has expired, the manager may finalize the Manager Review and proceed to the Performance Appraisal Discussion.
Signing the Performance Appraisal
The Performance Appraisal is first signed by the employee and then by the manager. Comments may be entered by both at the bottom of the form prior to signing. Both employee and manager input is viewable after signatures are obtained and the form is completed.
The signature is completed electronically on the form and is valid as the UUID must be entered to gain access to the P2A System upon login.
