Postdoctoral Fellows in the laboratory of a UTHealth Neuroscience Research Center member, BCM Department of Neuroscience or Rice University Departments of BioSciences, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Psychology are eligible to submit an abstract to compete for an award.
Only one abstract as first author may be submitted for the competition. Faculty members, research scientists, residents and medical students are encouraged to display their neuroscience posters during the Poster Session but need to register in advance as space is limited.
Poster boards are 5’8” (1.7m) wide and 3’8” (1.1m) high.
Poster numbers will be available the morning of the event at sign-in. Place your poster on the board number that matches your abstract number.
Boards will be available for set-up starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, December 2. Please arrive early as there will be many people checking in at the same time. Push pins will be available. Please take your poster down directly after the event or it may be discarded.
Judging and Awards
Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows will be judged separately and awarded separate prizes. Each poster will be judged by three different scientists.
Judging will end by 11:30 and presentations of awards will be at noon.
