Registration is now open for the 2024 UTHealth Houston Psychiatry Update Conference, hosted by the Louis A. Faillace, MD, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Fayez S. and Susan K. Sarofim Research Building, 1825 Pressler St.The symposium is designed for everyone from medical professionals to the general public.The 2024 conference, titled “Autism Across the Lifespan,” focuses on autism from childhood into adulthood. Topics include autism and infancy, medical treatment in autism spectrum disorder, transition to adulthood for neurodiverse young adults, and advocacy and needs of the community.
