
Alexander Almaguer
Alexander Almaguer serves as University Editorial Assistant in the Office of Public Affairs. He works with the editing team and the rest of Public Affairs to expand the reach of editing standards and services across the university. Alexander has a background in business development, writing, and editing, including experience with health care, education, energy, among other fields. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English writing from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, and studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. His short story “Cypress Junction” won the Litmag 2022 Virginia Woolf Award for Short Fiction. Alexander joined Public Affairs in February 2024.
