Nelcy J. Ramirez

Nelcy J. Ramirez, MBA, is the Director of Administrative Services for the Fetal Institute. Her career in the Texas Medical Center began in 2007 with significant contributions at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), where she served as Administrative Coordinator for Drs. Kenneth Moise and Anthony Johnson at Texas Children’s Hospital, and Executive Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Chair’s Office at BCM. Further enriching her professional path, Ms. Ramirez earned her Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and excelled as a Research Operations Manager at Houston Methodist Research Institute (HMRI) for over five years. 

In her role at UTHealth Houston’s Fetal Institute, Ms. Ramirez oversees the Administrative Core functions, including financial operations, human resources, recruitment, grant preparation, and grant management. She also plays a crucial role in enhancing inter-campus collaborations to advance the Institute’s strategic objectives.
