Simone Hull, MA, LCDC-I, has worked with UTHealth Houston’s First Responder Behavioral Health Helpline and training program since its inception in 2020, where she has supported all stages of development and implementation. Her work includes taking helpline calls, providing confidential support and resource navigation, and delivering education to first responders across Texas. Simone also designs evidence-based online courses tailored to the unique cultural and operational challenges faced by EMS, fire, law enforcement, dispatch, and healthcare personnel.

She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master of Arts in Philosophy focused on identity, autonomy, and clinical ethics. Simone is a Texas Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern. She hopes that mental health literacy and psychoeducation will combat stigma and allow all people to access the support they need to flourish through their individual experiences.
