Services Provided

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy typically consists of weekly, biweekly, or monthly one-on-one sessions with your psychologist (PhD/PsyD). A typical therapy session is about 50 minutes long. The therapy may be short-term or long-term depending on the individual needs of the student.

Medication Management

Medication is prescribed when appropriate by a psychiatrist (MD/DO). A typical follow up session is about 30-50 minutes long, depending on the needs of the student. Your medication management appointment may include brief therapy as well.

Psychological Assessment & Reports (by referral only)

Your treating provider may recommend that you undergo a formal psychological assessment with diagnostic report. This is sometimes needed if students are seeking disability accommodations or if further diagnostic clarification is needed. This may be recommended in the case of diagnosing a primary attention disorder, such as ADHD.

Educational Workshops & Outreach Events

We conduct various educational workshops and outreach events throughout the year at the individual schools of health. We’ve done everything from staffing a booth with information about our services, to dropping by town hall events, to conducting various Lunch-and-Learns with interactive stress management sessions. If you would like us to come to your school, please let us know.
