Advisory Council
The Alumni Advisory Council is a dedicated group that serves as advisors to school leadership and Cizik School of Nursing Alumni Association. All graduates are invited to nominate alumni to serve on the council, and you can even nominate yourself.
Dinner with a Nurse
You can help students who are right where you once were by participating in Dinner with a Nurse. This event is a casual gathering of Cizik School of Nursing alumni and current students to discuss nursing careers and develop mentoring relationships in a relaxed, personal setting. Dinner with a Nurse matches a small group of students with an alumni host for a fun evening.
Debbie Adams Leadership Academy
This intensive, two-day program supports the academic objectives of fostering effective leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Prepare Future Nurses
Preceptors play a vital role in enabling students to progress on their nursing journeys by providing mentorship and supervision for clinical rotations. If you are an experienced and qualified nurse, nurse practitioner, nursing leader, or nursing informaticist, please consider helping students apply their knowledge and skills in real-world health care settings.
