Executive Director of Development Operations
Lisa Christison has worked in the field of development for 12 years, and has worked at UTHealth since early 2004. As the Executive Director of Development Operations, she supervises four departments: gift processing, prospect research, donor database management,and endowment/gift compliance.
Director of Administrative Services
Cathy joined the UTHealth campus, after 15.5 years at UTMB-Galveston, December 2008. During her employment at UTMB she held various roles as an analyst in both Patient and General Finance. Prior to her role in the Development Office, Cathy worked in the Pathology Department at the Medical School where she managed the department administrative operations. Cathy currently oversees administrative operations for the Development Office.
Assistant Director, Gift Administration
Michael Musters graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.A. in Management. He comes to us with over eleven years of experience with a non-profit organization where he was responsible for all programs, payroll and benefits, accounts payable/accounts receivable, audits and event planning. As the manager of gift administration he is responsible for overseeing the handling of all charitable contributions to UTHealth.
Gift Administration Specialist
Melissa Guerrero is responsible for the many aspects of gift processing, making deposits, keeping departmental gift records, and sending out pledge reminders. She has clerical/receptionist experience and has held customer service-oriented positions. Melissa's extra training includes certificates in computer applications in business and in word processing.
Director of Prospect Research
Mike oversees all aspects of prospect research for UTHealth, including electronic screening, profile generation, and pipeline analysis. Further, he works with development officers to devise strategies for the advancement of relationships and to maintain the health of their portfolios. Prior to joining UTHealth, Mike worked in the Development Office of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where he last managed development research, and as an analyst for Certis Information Services, Inc. He is a graduate of Purdue University.
Associate Director, Prospect Management
Will assists development officers in the management of their prospect portfolios. He also works with the Director of Prospect Research and Strategy and Prospect Research Analysts to identify new prospects and direct them to fundraisers. Prior to joining UTHealth, he was Director of Prospect Management at St. Mary's University of San Antonio, his college alma mater. He was also previously the Prospect Research Manager at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Prospect Research Coordinator at St. Mary's University. He is a founding member of the Central / South chapter of APRA International.
Jeremy M. Mancuso
Jeremy assists development officers in the management of their prospect portfolios by performing customized biographical research and financial analysis on current and prospective donors. Prior to joining UTHealth, Jeremy was the Director of Insights for a business intelligence firm in the UK. He has a BS from the University of Houston-Downtown and a masters in strategic foresight from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He is a member of APRA International and the Association of Professional Futurists.
Data Management Analyst
Heidi Saperstein graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in English, minoring in Professional Writing and Publishing. She spent six years working in corporate marketing before moving into higher education, where she has served for the past 13 years, most recently at the University of Houston. As a Data Management Analyst at UTHealth, she assists in the administrative management of the Office of Developments donor database.
Data Management Analyst
Logan assists in the administrative management of the Office of Development's donor database. Prior to joining the Office of Development, Logan spent several years as a prospect researcher. She holds a BA from Colby College, a masters in information studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a master's in management information systems from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
