Available Units
Due to high demand, University Housing operates an annual waitlist process for future residents. The waitlist is open for only two weeks each March and typically applies to move-ins between April and December or until the waitlist for a specific floor plan is exhausted. Outside of this period, from January through March, housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability. If you see a unit you’re interested in, please contact the University Housing Office for next steps.
Important Dates: March 2026
March 9, 2026 at 8:00 AM -- Waitlist opens for:
- Full-time UTHealth Houston full-time students, post-docs, residents, and fellows
- MD Anderson (MDA) full-time students, post-docs, residents, and fellows
March 16, 2026 at 8:00 AM – Waitlist opens for:
- Full-time Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) full-time students, post-docs, residents, and fellows
- All full-time UTHealth/MDA/BCM employees
March 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM – Waitlist closes
No additional entries will be accepted after this time.
How the Waitlist Works
The waitlist is managed online through a quick application process. Be prepared with the following:
- The online application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
- You will be asked to provide information about your affiliation, desired floor plans, and move-in timeframe.
- You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submission.
- Current tenants are not eligible to join the waitlist.
