Cizik School of Nursing student leader creates COVID-19 resources

Annie Steinhauser, MSN ’21, RN, PCCN, who recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston, was on the frontlines at the beginning of the pandemic. Her experience positioned her to help the Texas Nurses Association (TNA) COVID-19 task force develop educational materials about the virus.

School of Biomedical Informatics professor earns $4 million research training grant

UTHealth Houston School of Biomedical Informatics faculty member Zhongming Zhao, PhD, MS, received a grant from Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). In addition to supporting his research training project, the award allows the school to launch its first fellowship training program.
