The shuttles run from 5:30am to 8:30pm, Monday-Friday (shuttles do not operate on weekends or university holidays). A shuttle arrives at each stop every 10-20 minutes (depending on the number of shuttles in operation – see detail below). The frequency of shuttles also depends on the time of day and traffic volume within TMC. Below is a breakdown of how many shuttles run at each hour and an average of how often a shuttle arrives at each stop. This schedule runs from early August through late May (there is an altered summer schedule from early June through early August).

Yes. You can track shuttles by GPS at UTHealth.passiogo.com or download the Passio GO! app for mobile devices from the App Store or Google Play. No, we cannot pick up or drop off at unscheduled stops, for operational and liability reasons. Do not ask the driver to drop you off or pick you up anywhere other than a designated UTHealth Houston shuttle service stop.

Effective Jan. 2, 2024, the partnership allowing MD Anderson students/employees to ride the UTHealth Houston shuttles has been reactivated. MD Anderson Students/employees are allowed to ride UTHealth Houston shuttles between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  For information regarding MD Anderson Shuttle Service, call 713-792-2338 or email [email protected].  NOTE:  Times subject to change.

Unfortunately, no, you will not be allowed to board. No exceptions will be made. We have had major issues in the past with different groups of people attempting to use our shuttle service without permission, taking seats away from UTHealth Houston students, faculty, and staff who have UTHealth Houston shuttle privileges and rely on its service. Vouching for someone will not get them onto a shuttle. Using someone else’s ID badge to ride will be viewed as theft of service and could result in confiscation of the badge.  For questions, contact Auxiliary Enterprises at 713-500-8400.

Unfortunately, no. Only actual students and employees of UTHealth Houston and MD Anderson are permitted to ride the UTHealth Houston shuttle.
