All UTHealth Houston students are invited to attend the 12th Annual Student InterCouncil (SIC) Crawfish Boil on Wednesday, April 5, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the courtyard of the Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center Courtyard. Students can invite one guest each.
The crawfish boil is always a great opportunity to spend time with friends and meet fellow UTHealth Houston students from all disciplines across campus.
The annual crawfish boil is SIC’s largest event of the year and will include free crawfish, hot dogs, veggie dogs, corn, potatoes, chips, and beverages. Students and their guest can learn how to peel and eat crawfish; while enjoying music, playing games, and mingling with their peers, SIC representatives, faculty, and staff. Souvenirs will be given out, on a first come first serve basis.
UTHealth Houston student ID badges and driver’s licenses (for guest drinking age verification) are required at check-in. Students are encouraged to take the UTHealth Shuttle to the Cooley Center, located at 7440 Cambridge St., or park in the East Road parking lot across from UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Parking validations will also be available. Pets are not allowed at the event.
