All UTHealth students were invited to attend the 11th Annual Student InterCouncil (SIC) Crawfish Boil on Friday, April 1, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Denton A. Cooley, MD and Ralph C. Cooley, DDS University Life Center Courtyard. Students could invite one guest each.
The crawfish boil is always a great opportunity to spend time with friends and meet fellow UTHealth students from all disciplines across campus.
The annual crawfish boil is SIC’s largest event of the year and will include free crawfish, hot dogs, veggie dogs, corn and beverages. Students and their guest learned how to peel and eat crawfish while they enjoyed music, playing games, and met their peers and SIC representatives.
UTHealth student ID badges and a driver’s license were presented at the check-in table. Students were encouraged to take the UTHealth Shuttle to the Cooley Center, located at 7440 Cambridge St., or parked in the East Road parking lot across from UTHealth School of Dentistry. Parking validations were available.
