Policy On Conflict of Interest in Student Healthcare and Student Evaluation

It is the policy of McGovern Medical School that faculty who have provided health care, including health or psychiatric services, cannot evaluate that student or make decisions regarding the promotion of a student. If any student recognizes that they are assigned to work with a faculty member or resident that has previously provided health care services they should notify the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs to facilitate reassignment.
