The University Classified Staff Council (UCSC) hosted a successful virtual brown bag session on March 1, 2022 to learn about Microsoft Teams and UTH-Share (UTHealth Houston’s implementation of Google Workspace for Education). Guest presenter Donna Reb, who works on the academic and administrative technology team within information technology, showcased these tools to a large audience that attended virtually.

The Leadership Institute’s Mentorship Program is a program that facilitates one-on-one and small group mentoring relationships that connect mentees with leaders in the organization to learn and develop. The purpose of this program is to develop employees, enhance leadership skills, and to create a strong and supportive culture across UTHealth.

This year the University Classified Staff Council (UCSC) partnered with The Star of Hope to collect donations as part of their holiday drive. The Star of Hope assists approximately 1,000 individuals per day, and their mission is to provide a comprehensive approach to addressing the diverse issues, both immediate and long term, that impact individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
